Job description



To be responsible to establish and manage a distributor network, and regional offices of online water level monitoring instrument sales PAN India




  • Establish and manage distribution network of Online water level monitoring instruments across India
  • Ability to cater to the needs of government tenders and corporate or Infrastructure Installations owing to his technical capabilities and networking skills
  • Ability to set up distribution network and a strong understanding of institutional sales
  • Be responsible for all the sales of online water level monitoring equipment & services through establishing new workplaces across PAN India, and ensuring the business objectives are bonded in them
  • Increases management's effectiveness by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling of subordinates in multiple states of India
  • Identifying new critical markets and customers for WRI sales to meet short term and long-term sales objectives
  • Complete RFPs, client reports, MIS Data reporting to management, and gathering market intelligence through managing a portfolio of client accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Assign and delegate sales quotas for territories to subordinates according to individual potential
  • Generate new business by offering the online water level monitoring products of Encardio Rite in existing and potential customer networks by uncovering customer needs using a solutions sales approach
  • Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections
  • Set and track sales account targets through distributors and direct sales team, aligned with company objectives by monitoring sales metrics
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and expansion




The successful candidate shall possess bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics/Civil) with knowledge on hydrology, water level/quality measurements, and with master’s degree in Marketing from a premier management institute. This individual will have 5+ years of progressively greater experience in Sales & Marketing, with business development of an organization handling water resource instrumentation preferred. The candidate should strategize business expansion plans in the field of sales of manufacturing and services. In addition, the candidate will be a leader who has demonstrated success in being the leader of a team based marketing process.




  • Experience leading complex negotiations to ensure profitable growth. Leads by example; passionate and committed to being in front of clients
  • Strong knowledge on Online water monitoring products
  • Competent leader skilled at listening to customers, management and staff, assessing situations, defining strategy, and executing a plan to achieve goals
  • Taking initiatives to mentor key personnel in the department, ensuring their constant professional growth, and assisting them in execution of their duties where necessary
  • Demonstrate consistent activity disciplines to maximize new business development, and assure perpetual pipeline growth
  • Clearly demonstrate problem-solving capacity and the ability to be timely and responsive
  • Prior experience developing a strategy for and/or working with channel partners
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal/relationship building; and planning and project management
