Round Table Conference on Conceiving a Business Idea

On 23rd of July, the Alumni Relations Cell of SBM, NMIMS Mumbai organised a round table conference on “Conceiving a business idea”. It was a privilege to have amongst us Mr.Pankaj Nagori who addressed the budding entrepreneurs of NMIMS, Mumbai and provided meaningful insight about what all are needed to be a successful entrepreneur.
Mr.Nagori is an alumnus of NMIMS Mumbai, batch of 1992 post which he worked with an export house from 1992 – 1995.He then started his own business called Padmasons in 1995.Soon he became an ‘Authorized Distributor’ of NTN Corporation, Japan – the leading manufacturer of bearings in the world. He also started CVADO1502-India’s pioneer chocolate tasting club where one could get the widest variety of exquisite, fresh European chocolates.
The session was quite interactive as Mr.Nagori shared valuable insights about his experiences while starting Padmasons and CVADO1502. He made the attendees walk through the problems he faces in the course of the business and how he deals with them. He also spoke about the present and future status of entrepreneurship in India.
Round table conference is organised frequently by the Alumni Relations Cell of NMIMS Mumbai and it is a way of enriching students with the latest updates of the industries and technicalities. The students are bestowed with knowledge about industry needs and latest technical updates. The students also get to interact with the alumnus and know more about the ins and outs of the corporate world.
